In a ruined and toxic future, thousands live in a giant silo deep underground. After its sheriff breaks a cardinal rule and residents die mysteriously, engineer Juliette starts to uncover shocking secrets and the truth about the silo.

Season 1 In a bleak dystopian future, humanity clings to survival deep underground within the confines of a colossal silo. Juliette, an engineer tasked with unraveling the mystery behind the death of a colleague, uncovers startling secrets that threaten the very fabric of their enclosed world.

Season 2 Stranded outside her silo with a failing suit, Juliette Nichols races against time, stunned to find another silo nearby that could be her only hope for survival. Meanwhile, unrest brews inside her original silo as Bernard Holland rallies citizens to maintain order amid rising questions about their world. As Juliette faces unexpected dangers near the new silo, hidden truths about the silos’ origins and the world beyond begin to surface, deepening the mystery.

Review: This is a highly intriguing and innovative narrative, wherein a society is compelled to live underground, in a Silo, due to unknown causes.

The way mystery involves the story by leaving more questions than answers makes you want to know what is going to happen next.

Furthermore, the way social classes are physically placed in the Silo and that the most important jobs (even though all social classes consider to be doing the most important job) are deep down in the Silo gives it a nice representation of a dystopian world.

This show made me want to read the books by author Hugh Howey that this show is based on. I might even read them before Season 3.
